Fluffy McScratch, the house cat has been accused of stealing food from her neighbor’s house. Despite her innocent appearance, her neighbor house cat Tommy insists that he saw Fluffy sneaking out of her house with a fish in her mouth. Fluffy denies the accusation, claiming that it’s a misunderstanding. She is now being interviewed by me, Caty Zuzu your favourite cat reporter to clear her name and tell her side of the story in today’s episode of Devil’s Advocate
Caty Zuzu: “So, there have been some rumors that you’ve been stealing food from the neighbor’s house. Can you shed some light on this matter?”
Fluffy: “Meow, meow, Caty Zuzu. I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m a respectable house cat, and I would never do such a thing.”
Caty Zuzu: “Interesting. But Tommy, the neighbor’s cat, claims to have seen you sneaking around their kitchen window.”
Fluffy: “Tommy?! That little snitch! I should have known he would be the one to spread this rumor. He’s always been jealous of my superior hunting skills.”
Caty Zuzu: “Hunting skills, huh? So, you’re saying that you were just hunting for your own food, and accidentally ended up in the neighbor’s kitchen?”
Fluffy: “Exactly! You know how it is, Caty Zuzu. I was hunting & ended at their kitchen. A leftover tuna fell from nowhere. I started investigating it, and decided that the best way to find out was to eat it. They should be honored that I even considered their kitchen as a potential hunting ground!”
Caty Zuzu: “Well, I can’t argue with that logic. But what do you have to say to the neighbors who are accusing you of theft?”
Fluffy: “All I have to say to them is, ‘Don’t hate the player, hate the game.’ Firstly, I didn’t intentionally go to their house to steal their food. And besides, if they really wanted to keep their food safe, they should have gotten a security system or something. You can’t blame a cat for being resourceful!”
Caty Zuzu: “Fair enough, Fluffy. I think we’ve heard enough on this matter. Thanks for taking the time to speak with me today.”
Fluffy: “No problem, Caty Zuzu. Just doing my part to clear my good name. Meow!”
